Funding Opportunities

Games On! $30 million Grassroots Infrastructure Program is now open! This program will help build a lasting sporting legacy for Queensland as we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we’re inviting eligible organisations to register their interest for this funding opportunity. The program supports upgraded, accessible, and inclusive facilities that benefit local communities and future international events. Funding is available through two categories:

  • Field of Play Fund: Supports community-level projects, such as upgrading fields, courts, and club amenities, to encourage greater participation in sport.
  • Partnership Fund: Supports larger projects, like multi-use precincts, to create spaces that bring communities together and meet future event needs
