Child Safeguarding Law

Queensland’s New Child Safeguarding Law introducing Child Safe Standards commenced from the 1st October 2025.  Clubs & Associations MUST be compliant from the 1st April 2026.

The Queensland’s Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 introduces a system to protect children from harm in organisational settings.  The system comprises Child Safe Standards, which aim to create environments that prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children.
