Changes to Social Media Laws

From 10 December 2025, new laws will prevent some social media platforms from allowing children under 16 to have an account.
 The eSafety Commissioner is offering short information webinars to help parents, carers, educators and youth-serving organisations understand the changes and what they mean.
 These sessions may be useful for Pony Club clubs and coaches who currently communicate with members under 16 via social media, or who support young riders and families navigating online platforms.
